Taskforce
The Midland Regional Drugs Task Force represents a partnership between the statutory, voluntary and community sectors. The composition reflects the need to ensure regionally based responses that complement existing or planned drug programmes and services.
The taskforce is chaired by an independent chairperson and membership is made up of representatives from the community, voluntary, statutory and other key interest groups.
Sub committees
Membership of the sub committees is made up of taskforce members plus additional members drawn from relevant bodies and individuals within the midlands region as agreed by the taskforce. Each sub committee is chaired by a taskforce member. The chairperson of each sub committee reports back to the MRDTF committee on the work of the sub committee on a monthly basis. Each sub committee operates from an agreed terms of reference.
